Vad är Warriors of Waterdeep? Warriors of Waterdeep är en taktisk tur-baserad rollspelsapp som utspelar sig i Forgotten Realms. Spelaren väljer ett lag av hjältar och bekämpar monster, samlar skatter och utforskar dödliga platser för att rädda Waterdeep från fiender.
- Välj ett lag av hjältar från nya och etablerade karaktärer som Shevarith, Saarvin och Farideh.

P2W, lousy D&D implementation, and full of bugs
It’s the standard pay to win concept as always nowadays, which means progress is done with a snail’s speed unless you bring real cash and tou stay at the bottom in PvP. From a game perspective, there’s nothing new here and very few game aspects. It’s just the same old repetitive round-based click-on-the-opponent set up as in other simplistic 1-on-1 apps. It so simple and crashes so often so it’s an embarrasment for the D&D franchise to support this title. The only connection I feel with the D&D concept is the occasional use of the D20. Other from that it’s a pretty lame implementation.
Irritating
First I have to say that this is an interesting game. But it has some serious flaws. You will need a lot of gold to advance your gear and to improve your heroes. One way to get this is to fight in the arena to get chests. However!!! When you get enough cups to reach the next stage the opponents will be much tougher and you will start to loose the fights. But you have to loose alot to drop down a tier. With no way to surrender you will have to watch your weak heroes get thumped with no chance to succeed. Very fun!! And since the quests aren’t replayable your only chance to get money is the events. But hey!! The second event cave costs money to enter!! Great when you are trying your hardest to save money to improve your characters. That leaves cave 1. So enter game every five hours to get a free chest, do free event cave (and hope for money roll), close game, wait, repeat.

Sadly this is not a fun game to the driven RPG player, amazing world but the combat feels pale and slow.
In a round based game you gotta be able to turn around!
I can somewhat accept not being able to play with the ipad lying down (widescreen mode), although I cannot understand why I should. But. Not even being able to turn charger opening upwards to be able to charge while playing. Come on! That was a dealbraker so I didn’t even start to play.
Love it!, but could use a bit more
I love this app, I’m an avid DnD player and it’s a nice virtual representation of dnd. But, in each mission when you change rooms or finish a level they always say the same set of words. I know it’s not much, but it really gets annoying hearing the same thing each level.
