UPDATED: Lowered to two stars as the ads completely freeze the app. It has to be restarted to continue playing. For a long time I've been looking for a good online reversi game and I must say I like this app. It got me hooked, which few games do. However, to pay for the premium version I want a little more than the removal of ads. The scoring system simply sucks - you score if you play, eve if you lose. The difference in score between the players is not significant in the scoring which makes is equal to lose against bad players and winning against good players. The translation could be improved: "submitting draw"?? I believe "draw" in Swedish (which is the mother tongue of the developers) is "turn". Turn-based is good but it's easy to be locked up by a rookie will start a game and then not play. It should be possible to cancel a game where the opponent hasn't made a move yet. Another bad thing is that you have to wait for the opponent to make a turn even if there are no turns possible. It would improve the game if the same player can make his moves until the opponent can make one. From a technical perspective, I would like the developers to get the push notifications right. A new notification resets the counter to one even if there are more than one game waiting for me. Launching the app sets the counter to the correct value - so the behavior is inconsistent. It's a good start for a reversi app but before I can give a better rating than 3 or purchase the premium version I wish for the developers to put a little more effort into the app. For a future version I also wish for real time play with a maximum time per move in seconds set by the players themselves.
