The Times
I read the paper every morning and have chosen it prior to domestic papers. The reason is simple - The Times is better and cover much more. The app itself is straight forward to use so for short, en excellent paper and app.
Updates/bug fixes
I love the app, BUT every time I download a new update of the app all my downloaded editions disappear. Very annoying.
Painfully Slow
I have been enjoying reading The Sunday Times weekly for a couple of years now. Trouble free and smooth downloads. For the last couple of weeks things have taken a turn for the worst. Downloads are painfully slow since the latest update. Painfully slow.
Opening problem
The times app used to be really slick, and then they "improved" it. Now it always takes three attempts to get it to open. First nothing happens it just hangs, so I close it. The second attempt it throws me out after a few seconds, and the on the third try it opens. Same palaver every time. :(
A shambles
If I could give a negative scoring I would've. The previous app was far superior to this farce. Navigation is a joke, content seems non existent. Luckily I never subscribed and simply bought the Sunday times at standalone purchases and after seeing this excuse for an app I am glad I didn't. The Times should hang their head in shame for allowing something of this standard to be associated with them. Makes them look like a common tabloid rag. In fact the tabloid rags do it a lot better. What a disgrace
